Another branch of IAAS is Lamjung Campus situated at Sundar Bazar in Lamjung District. It is 28 Km away from Dumre, a place 114 Km from KLamjung-Campus-Corridorathmandu on Prithvirajmarg. It represents another ecological region of the country where students come to widen their intellectual horizon in agriculture tipical of mid hill region of Nepal. The campus is fortified with physical and trained human resources to provide standard agricultural education in this region. The whole academic environment of the campus suits the needs of the students as well as researchers in hill agriculture production system. Students are attracted from every part of the country to purse their higher studies in the field of agriculture.

Program Offered:

First two years Bachelor of Science in agriculture B.Sc.Ag. The academic program of Instruction at Lamjung campus has been organized into 3 instructional Departments.



1. Plant Science

2. Animal Science

3. Social Science



Library:

The Campus has a modest library with thousands of text andLamjung-Campus-Library reference books, journals and other reading materials. The library has become a book for students and faculty members who extend the frontiers of their mental horizon not only in the field of agriculture but other disciplines as well.



Scholarship:

For meritorious undergraduate students 25% of the student gets scholarship of Rs. 200 per month up to maximum of 10 months.

Laboratory:

Laboratory facilities are moderately equipped for experimentation and courses works.



Farms:

Farms are well laid out and of moderate size for course related practical works and research.. The agronomy farm occupies 3 ha, Horticulture farm 2.25 ha while livestock farm has only 0.5 ha. In spite of the small areas of tLamjung-Campus-Hostelhese farms, these farms serve the purposes of students’ field practical works and production to a limited extent.



Hostels:

There are separate hostels for boys and girls with accommodation capacity of 64 and 32 respectively. These hostels are situated within the premises of the campus and are moderately facilitated.
